The end-turns 4 of a dynamo-electric machine are secured together or to stays by an insulating, resin-impregnated binding 8, this binding being tightened by further bindings 9 which also have sufficient bulk to hold the conductors apart. The composite binding then cures at air-temperature. A spacer may also be inserted between the conductors. If desired (Fig. 3, not shown), each wrapping tie wraps around adjacent bars before passing to the next and is bifurcated to lie on each side of the preceding one. |
