PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a beverage for reducing a hangover is provided by mixing liquid oxygen with an extract of herbal plants. Therefore, the beverage reduces various symptoms caused by oxygen depletion while enhancing the activation of the liver function and reducing the symptoms of hangover. CONSTITUTION: Herbal plants having reducing effect on symptoms of a hangover are cut, 600g of the cut herbal plants are extracted with 3,000cc of water for 3 to 5hr at 120deg.C, 120ml of a plant extract is mixed with 3ml of liquid oxygen to produce a beverage containing 2,500ppm of oxygen. The herbal plants are Hovenia dulcis Thunb., Lycium chinense Mill., Alnus japonica(Thunb.) Steud. and Puerariae Radix.
