PURPOSE: A comb filter having a phase correction function is provided to correct a phase difference between two lines and then perform comb filtering so as to minimize a comb error. CONSTITUTION: A comb filter having a phase correction function includes a phase correction unit(40) and a comb filter(50). The phase correction unit corrects the phase of a composite video signal of a line N+1 such that a burst signal difference between composite video signals of a line N and the line N+1 becomes maximum. Here, the line N+1 is delayed from the line N by one line. The comb filter comb-filters the composite video signal of the line N and the phase-corrected composite video signal, to divide each of the composite video signals into a luminance signal and a color signal. The phase correction unit consists of a 1H line memory(41), a burst signal extracting unit(42) for extracting a burst signal of the composite signal of the line N and a burst signal of the composite video signal of the line N+1, a burst signal phase difference detector(43) that obtains a maximum interval between the burst signals of the line N and line N+1 by delaying the burst signal of the line N+1 by predetermined clocks, and a pixel shifter(44) that shifts the line N+1 by the interval.
