PURPOSE: An undercoating agent composition for automobiles is provided, to prevent corrosion and discoloration of the painted surface and to reduce drying time. CONSTITUTION: The undercoating agent composition comprises 15-20 wt% of calcium alkyl benzenesulfonate; 5-15 wt% of bentonite; 19-23 wt% of petroleum slag wax; and 0.5-2.0 wt% of carbon black. Preferably the composition comprises further 3-8 wt% of oxidized petroleum lactam barium salts and 30-45 wt% of a naphtha solvent. |
