PURPOSE: An intake noise reducing apparatus is provided to reduce intake noises of a wide variety of frequencies through a single resonator. CONSTITUTION: An intake noise reducing apparatus comprises a resonator(20) communicated to an intake duct(10); an oil tank(30) filled with an oil; a communicating pipe(40) which allows for flow of oil between the resonator and the oil tank; the first sliding member which moves in a vertical direction in accordance with the height of the level of the oil in the resonator so as to change the volume of the resonator; the second sliding member which moves in a vertical direction in accordance with the height of the level of the oil in the oil tank; a potentiometer(50) for detecting the height of the level of the oil in the oil tank; an actuator(60) for moving the second sliding member in a vertical direction so as to adjust the height of the level of the oil in the oil tank; and an electronic control unit(80) for determining the reference height on the basis of the engine RPM, and driving the actuator in such a manner that the level of the oil detected by the potentiometer reaches the reference height.
