PURPOSE: A voice memory multi-functional audio system is provided to store conversation, contents of broadcasts, and music in MP3 type files, and search, play, and delete the stored data. CONSTITUTION: A sound signal output unit(100) is formed of a tuner(10), a deck(20), and a hands-free for outputting radio broadcast, CDs, MP3(MPEG Audio Layer-3), telephone conversation, and indoor conversation as electric signals. A sound signal control unit receives the signals for changing sound signals in a predetermined frequency band. A signal code converter receives the sound and aural signals for compressing the same or restoring the compressed signals to be transmitted to the sound signal control unit. A microcomputer outputs control signals for compressing the signals applied form the signal code converter and restoring the compressed signals. A card memory(100) is synchronized by the control signals for storing the compressed aural signals and outputting the stored aural signals to the signal code converter. An amplifier(40) amplifies the sound signals output from the sound signal control unit to predetermined sound signals. An output unit outputs the sound signals which are amplified to the predetermined sound signals to be heard by a user.
