摘要 PURPOSE: Provided is a method for preparing olefin polymer and copolymer having substantially higher catalytic activity and broader molecular weight distribution than those of polymer and copolymer produced by existing methods. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the step of polymerizing or copolymerizing an olefin in the presence of catalyst consisting of (a) solid complex titanium catalyst consisting of magnesium, titanium, halogen, and internal electron donor, (b) organometallic compound, and (c) external electron donor. The method is characterized in that the solid complex titanium catalyst(a) is produced by (i) forming a magnesium-containing solution by using a magnesium compound in the presence of mixed solution of cyclic ether and alcohol, (ii) reacting the magnesium-containing solution with transition metal compound to precipitate solid particles, and (iii) reacting the precipitated solid particles with transition metal compound and internal electron donor, and the external electron donor(c) is dicyclopentyldimethoxysilane or diisobutyldimethoxysilane.
