PRODUCTION OF SUEDE-LIKE FABRIC HAVING EXCELLENT ANTISTATIC PROPERTIES

PURPOSE: A method of making suede-like fabric by weaving a combined filament yarn of polyester conjugate yarns and high-shrinkage polyester yarns into a twill or a weave fabric and then treating it with polyurethane resin after the degumming, heat-treating and dyeing process is provided. The fabric has enhanced repulsive elasticity, water repellency and feeling as well as excellent antistatic properties. CONSTITUTION: A split-type polyester yarn is air-mingled with a high-shrinkage polyester yarn to give a polyester combined microfiber yarn. Then, a fabric is woven into a twill or a weave fabric using the polyester combined microfiber yarn as a warp and a weft, together with an antistatic yarn in an amount of 10 to 40% of the total count of the warp and weft, degummed in a relax tank, dyed with a liquid-flow dyeing machine and then dried.
