FIELD: communication systems which utilize ground in the capacity of transmitting medium, methods of signal sending in tunnels and mines. SUBSTANCE: salient feature of invention lies in formation of low-frequency signal on ground surface, in its conversion to high-frequency signal in underground workings and in its transmission to receiving device. Proposed method makes it feasible to ensure reliable operation and emergency transmission of messages to mine workings which enhances industrial safety measures and timeliness of control over activities of personnel underground.
