FIELD: packaging materials and packages made thereof, particularly bottles for light-sensitive products. SUBSTANCE: packaging 10 comprises at least one layer 11 made of plastic with included mineral particles 11b, which uniformly distributed over layer weight, and coal soot particles 11c for light barrier increasing. Mineral particles content is 3%-80% of layer 11 total weight, coal soot particles content is 0,04% - 1% of matter 11a weight. Packaging material 10 preferably has three layers. Layer 11 with mineral particles and coal soot particles is located between outer layers 12, 13 made of the same plastic as layer 11. At least one, preferably two outer layers have white pigment or other white coloring agent for layer 11 concealing. White pigment is preferably titanium dioxide (TiO2). Bottles are formed of said packaging material by well-known method, which combines extrusion and blow-molding processes and in common processing equipment.
