FIELD: patterning equipment for textile materials, leather, polymeric materials and materials based on wood. SUBSTANCE: the cutting tool is made in the form of a string or rod, on whose surface a layer of metal with cutting elements is applied. The cutting elements are formed in the form of teeth located in longitudinal rows and having the shape of pyramids. The method for manufacture of the cutting tool includes application of a layer of metal on the surface of the string or rod and formation of cutting elements on it. For attaining the same technical result the cutting elements are formed as teeth of the mentioned layer of metal by means of metal cutting operations, with the aid of which first longitudinal grooves are made with sections in the form of turned over trapezoids or triangles with formation in pairs of ridges with triangular sections by them, and then transverse grooves are made. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the cutting tool and efficiency of operation of the patterning equipment. 18 cl, 10 dwg |
