FIELD: electrodes for electric arc welding of root, filling and facing seams of non-rotary and rotary butts of tubes and joints of metallic constructions of low-alloy and carbon steels. SUBSTANCE: coating contains, mass %: carbonates of alkali-earth metals, 44 - 46; fluorspar , 9 - 11; ferrosilicomanganese, 6 - 8; ferrosilicon, 6 - 7; aluminum, 0.5 - 1.5; tuff generating sand, 19 - 23; rutile concentrate, 2 - 5; iron powder, 3 - 6; potash or soda, 0.5 - 1.0; plasticizing agents, 1.5 - 2.0. Composition provides increased resistance against pore occurring in root seams and content of diffused hydrogen in surfaced metal equal to 2 cub.cm/100 g or less.
