PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding-type portable information terminal where a main body and a lid are supported through a hinge part so that they are freely opened/closed and a main body-side substrate, a lid-side substrate are mutually connected by a flexible wiring board and deterioration of reception performance due to noise radiated from the flexible wiring board and malfunction due to an input of a transmitted wave to the flexible wiring board can be previously prevented. SOLUTION: In the folding-type telephone set 1, the main body 2 and the lid 3 are supported through the hinge part 4 so that they can freely be opened/closed and the main body-side substrate 2B and the lid-side substrate 3B are mutually connected by the flexible wiring board 5. A main body-side shield cover 10 fitted to the main body-side substrate 2B and a lid-side shield cover 20 which is fitted to the lid-side substrate 3B and which relatively moves while it is conducted with the main body-side shield cover 10 surround the whole flexible wiring board 5 so as to shield it.
