PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide rail for traveling, which is simple in structure, and has functionality achieving both the durability and vibration isolation effect thereof. SOLUTION: The guide rail is formed of a rail base 2, a rail member 5, and a rail fixture 7. The rail base 2 is mounted on a structure and has a predetermined length. The rail member 5 has a circular cross section, and is fitted into a mounting groove 6 which is part of the base rail 2 and formed in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the rail base 2. The rail fixture 7 functions to rigidly fit the rail member 5 into the mounting groove 6 such that part of a peripheral surface of the rail member 5 is exposed to the outside. According to the structure of the guide rail, at least a half or more of the peripheral surface of the rail member 5 is enclosed by an opening brim 6a of the mounting groove 6 and the rail fixture 7, and the remaining part of the peripheral surface which is exposed to the outside serves as a guide surface (guide section 5a) of a guide roller 15.
