The jewelry-container (10) consists of at least two transparent parts (10a,b) which have facing open sides (10a',b'). A quarter to a third of the container's capacity is filled with solid, preferably transparent, spherical, cylindrical or polygonal particles (16) partly enclosing the piece of jewelry (12) . The edges (14a,b) of the parts are broader than the usual thickness of the parts.
