HYDROGENATED COPOLYMER, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND HOT-MELT ADHESIVE COMPOSITION CONTAINING THE SAME

A hydrogenated copolymer which is a product of hydrogenation of a copolymer having a softening point as measured by the ball-and-ring method of 45 to 55°C and which has a softening point as measured by the ball-and-ring method of 85 to 95°C; and a hot-melt adhesive composition containing the hydrogenated copolymer. The hydrogenated copolymer has a reduced weight loss on heating and has a satisfactory hue after heating. The hot-melt adhesive composition, which contains the hydrogenated copolymer, has excellent flowability during heating, has a reduced weight loss on heating, changes little in hue upon heating, and has excellent thermal stability.
