<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To equally distribute fuel or the like to each stack, facilitate mounting, and miniaturize a fuel cell which is equipped with a plurality of stacks. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 10 is composed of stacks 12A-12D in which a supply and exhaust passage is formed in the stacking direction; a supply and exhaust member 40 of fuel or the like interposed between the stacks 12A-12D and supplying exhausting fuel or the like to and from the the stacks 12A-12D from the interposed surface; an upper case 80 and a lower case 90 forming a housing container of the stacks 12A-12D; and a pressing mechanism 110 applying pressure in the stacking direction to the stacks 12A-12D. The supply and exhaust passages to and from the stacks 12A-12D are formed in a similar shape. As a result, fuel or the like can equally be distributed in the stacks 12A-12D. Since the fuel cell is assembled only by connecting the supply and exhaust member of fuel or the like with a fuel supply and exhaust device or the like, mounting is facilitated, and the fuel cell is miniaturized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
