METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THERMAL TRANSFER TELEVISION SHEET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thermal transfer television sheet using a receiving layer composition which gives a dyestuff receiving layer excellent in a reaction speed of a releasing agent, a film coating strength of a releasing layer and a releasing property from the thermal transfer sheet.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the thermal transfer television sheet is to form the dyestuff receiving layer on at least one face of a substrate sheet and the releasing layer on its surface. The releasing layer is composed of a catalyst hardening type releasing agent and a hardening catalyst. The releasing layer is formed by letting a coating liquid for the dyestuff receiving layer contain either the releasing agent or the hardening catalyst at the time of forming the dyestuff receiving layer, and by coating either the hardening catalyst or the releasing agent on the face of the dyestuff receiving layer after forming the dyestuff receiving layer.
