<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-diffusing material formed into a film or sheet, such as a multilayered sheet, and to provide a method for producing the same. <P>SOLUTION: This light-diffusing material contains an optically transparent thermoplastic resin and a polyalkylsilsesquioxane (wherein, methyl, a 12-18C alkyl, H, phenyl, vinyl or cyclohexyl is referred to the alkyl) in an amount of 0.001-10 pts.wt. The material has such surface roughness as specified in the following: a center line average roughness (Ra) of about ≤0.1 μm, a ten point height of irregularities (Rz) of about ≤1.0 μm, and a maximum height (Rmax) of about ≤1.0 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
