<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an electric type dust collector is constituted in the order of a charge part, a dust collection part and a blow fan but a wall surface or the like in the vicinity of a blow-off port is stained by charged dust issued without being removed. <P>SOLUTION: A charge neutralizing means, which is equipped with a discharge electrode for discharging ions having polarity inverse to the charge of charged dust by applying AC voltage, is provided on the downstream side of the dust collection part to neutralize the charged dust to prevent the dust from adhering to the blow-off wall surface. Since large neutralizing action is obtained because air ions lighter than dust are used and no corona discharge is generated, the power consumption of the charge neutralizing means is reduced and ozone is not almost formed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
