PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic controller and its production method, in which there is few limitation to the layout of the electronic parts, etc., it is easy to make a casing common at low cost, and moreover the capability of dissipating heat is high. SOLUTION: An electronic controller 1 comprises a printed board 5 mounting an electronic part 3 which generates heat, a heat transmitting member 7 serving as a plate-like relay stay, and a casing 9 for accommodating them. In the heat transmitting member 7, an iron plate is formed in a predetermined shape by a pressing work, and a projection part 35 which projects to a side of an anti-mounting plane 5b of the printed board 5 is provided in a part corresponding to a mounting position of the electronic part 3, and a flat part 37 formed flat is provided surrounding the projection part 35. A distal end surface 35a of the projection part 35 comes into contact with a heat transmission thin film layer 17b on the anti-mounting plane 5b of the printed board 5, and the flat part 37 surrounding the projection part 35 comes into contact with the inside surface 13a of a cover 13 formed in a planar manner, similarly.
