The sock has an arrangement (20) for measuring the temperature in the material of the sock and an arrangement (10) for measuring the moisture in the material of the sock with at least one capacitive sensor with a first conductor arranged on one side of the material of the sock and a second conductor on the other side. The second conductor is in the form of spiral and/or circular metal wires. An independent claim is also included for the following: (a) a device for investigating the climatic conditions of a clothing item (b) and a method of investigating the climatic conditions of a clothing item, especially a shoe.
