摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copper alloy for an electronic material which can yield a high strength material, can be pressed with low viscosity press oil, and hardly causes the wear of metal dies. SOLUTION: The copper alloy stock for a connector which hardly causes the wear of a metal dies contains, by mass, 25 to 40 mass% Zn and the balance Cu with inevitable impurities. In the alloy stock, the arithmetic average roughness (Ra) in a direction perpendicular to the rolling direction is 0.07 to 0.13μm, the maximum height (Ry) is≤1.3μm, the thickness of an oxide film is 3 to 80 nm, and the ratio of oxides in the alloy elements in the oxide film is≥10 atomic%.
