PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk player and a reproduction controlling method capable of preventing an illegally copied digital disk from being reproduced. SOLUTION: Encryption is detected in the unit of digital audio contents during reproduction, and a wobble detecting device detects a wobble of a disk. If the wobble is encrypted, the existence/absence of the wobble is determined on the basis of wobble detection results. If the wobble exists, reproduction is stopped, and if the wobble does not exist, reproduction is controlled on the basis of copy control management information of a digital CCI. Meanwhile, if encryption is not performed, reproduction is controlled on the basis of copy control management information of a watermark CCI regardless of the existence/absence of the wobble to eliminate abnormal disk reproduction.
