PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure and a method for connecting a light guide member exhibiting little connection loss and made inexpensive. SOLUTION: As for the structure for connecting the light guide member where a plurality of light guide members are connected at a corner part, the length L2 of an area where the end line of the light guide member extending along the line of the outermost part of the corner is deviating from a reflection assumption line is smaller than the length L1 of an area where the end line of the light guide member extending along the line of the innermost part of the corner is deviating from the reflection assumption line.
