<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular head lamp usable for a plurality of beam modes by using a reflector and a discharge tube which have been conventionally used. <P>SOLUTION: A mechanism part to move the discharge tube 3 is composed of a rotational mechanism part B, a link mechanism part C, a light source part D, and a body case part E. Once a motor 9 rotates, its rotation is transmitted to a gear 13 through each gear. A rotator 10 raised by engagement with the rotation shaft of the gear 13 rotates with the rotation of the gear 13, a pin 8 raised on its side moves in a sliding groove part 7 slantingly formed in the inner wall of a rotational movement part 5, and the rotational movement part 5 is moved in the Z direction. The discharge tube 3 is fixed to the rotational movement part 5, and the axis of the light emitting part 53 of the discharge tube and the axis of the rotational movement part 5 are eccentrical each other.
