<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treatment method for a urethane resin for facilitating the regeneration operation of urethane resin decomposed matter by properly suppressing reaction when a regenerated resin is formed from the decomposed matter, and a manufacturing method for the regenerated resin. <P>SOLUTION: A compound having at least one group selected from the group consisting of a carboxyl group, a salt thereof, an ester group and a haloformyl group or an acid anhydrate is added to resin decomposed matter, which is obtained by decomposing the urethane bond of the urethane resin, as a treatment agent.
