PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate management for a directory and a file, and to remarkably reduce a burden for processing in the management. SOLUTION: This device/system/method is provided with the files having a file number, a storage means for storing the directory having a directory entry comprising the file number and group information in the every file, and a management means for managing the file indicated by the file number of the directory entry of the stored one directory, or the directory, to be on a hierarchy subordinate to the one directory.
