PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems in evaluating the performance of a batch job constructing a data warehouse, that the input of a calculation rule is unnecessary as a performance calculation rule is trivial, it is difficult to input a job processing data and a processing time in advance, and it is impossible to select a hardware from a CPU utilization time of every processing data and processing time zone. SOLUTION: This batch performance evaluating method comprises steps of inputting a data flow, inputting a unit value of machine performance, setting a property, calculating a job single execution time, inputting a job schedule, calculating a job total execution time, inputting a job execution allowed time, and selecting a machine.
