PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage to members by enhancing rigidity with respect to forces coming from all directions within a horizontal plane, without using inclined shafts that extend vertically relative to a bridge axis. SOLUTION: The reinforcing structure for jacket structures 2 uses connecting members 8 to connect together the plurality of jacket structures 2 which are arranged side-by-side. A jacket type foundation 1 uses the plurality of jacket structures 2 that support a bridge. The plurality of jacket structures 2 are connected to each other by the connecting members 8.
