PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission method for enhancing immunity to errors in video audio transmission and recording. SOLUTION: The data transmission method is characterized in that priority denoting order of processing is cross-referenced with data blocks of time serial data, one data block or more with lower priority and a data block with higher priority are set to the same packet and transmitted / recorded repetitively once or more, or the data block with higher priority is set to the packet and transmitted / recorded repetitively once or more. Or the data transmission method is characterized in that at least an arithmetic operation of error check or a correction code is applied to information included in a transmitted packet to add a new transmission header in zero byte or more to a head of the transmitted packet, and the arithmetic method of at least error check or correction code is revised depending on the type of data included in the transmitted packet before the arithmetic operation when the arithmetic result of at least error check or correction code is transmitted together with the data.
