In a wall, ceiling or like cladding, elongate panel-like segments 1 having longitudinal side sections 1a bent away from the plane thereof are supported at a fixed distance apart from each other with intermediate profiles 3 located therebetween in resilient contact with each of the longitudinal side sections along two spaced longitudinal pressure lines parallel to the side sections. The segments 1 may be supported either by lugs 2a on flanges of a profiled carrier 2, or may be supported by projections formed by notches cut from the edge of a flat elongate section, Fig. 2 (not shown). |
