Crossing safety device activated in real time

In the invented crossing safety device (PZS) the time-conditioned warning means (CPV) is connected through the mediation of a crossing communication channel (PKK) with a central (C) being disposed in a first station (100) dispatching the train. The central (C) is connected to a vehicle device (VZ) through the mediation of a radio communication channel (RKK). Warning signalled by the crossing safety device (PZS) is computed by the central (C) on the basis of distance of the crossing (P) from the first station (100) dispatching the train and of other parameters, whereby real time of this warning is safely communicated by the central (C) to the crossing safety device (PZS) which starts the warning only after the warning real time begins. The train can leave the first station (100) only in compliance with timetable, optionally after taking in account a delay and after safe registration of a command of initiation of the warning by the crossing safety device (PZS) in accordance with the computed real time of the warning start up. The warning indication is finished after passage of the train over the crossing (P) after evaluation made by annulling file (AS).
