<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection control method for a wireless LAN network system, which is capable of maintaining the connection with an access point by automatically switching a profile. <P>SOLUTION: According to this connection control method for a wireless LAN network system, a plurality of profiles including SSIDs (service set IDs) and WEP (wired equivalent privacy) keys which are IDs for allowing a client side to participate in the wireless LAN network are designated, and, when the access point fails, the profile is switched to the profile of a next access point to be connected to establish connection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
