<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method for a system and a medicine-polymer coating stent for treating cardiac disorders and other vascular symptoms. <P>SOLUTION: The system for treating the vascular symptoms is provided with the medicine-polymer coating stent in which a stent 120 is connected to a catheter 110, the stent 120 is coated with a polymer coating material 122. The polymer coating material 122 contains a segment homo-chain copolyester and a biological activating medicine distributed within the polymer coating material 122. When producing the medicine-polymer coating stent, a first monomer and a second monomer are mixed in a solvent (figure 5), a mixture which is obtained up to a conversion rate exceeding 20% is made react, and the mixture is polymerized by adding aliquots of the second monomer or of the mixture of the second monomer and the first monomer. Next, the polymerized mixture and the biological activating agent are mixed to form a medicine polymer of a prescribed elution speed, and the stent is coated with the medicine polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
