PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily generate and correct multimedia data. SOLUTION: An image cast including at least identifying information which indicates image data expressing an image to be displayed, a sound cast including at least identifying information which indicates sound data expressing a sound to be generated, and a script file with the image cast and the sound cast arranged in output order therein are generated and stored in a recording medium. The script file is read from the recording medium, and the image case and the sound cast described in the read script file are read. Image data and sound data are read from the recording medium in response to identifying information included in the read image case and sound cast. The image expressed by the read image data is displayed in a display device in order described in the script file. Then the sound expressed by the read sound data is outputted from a loudspeaker.
