PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmission method for enabling a receiver side to reduce a wait time after a page frequently viewed is selected until it is displayed concerning a data transmission apparatus for cyclicly transmitting transmission data comprising a plurality of pages. SOLUTION: A selection frequency storage section 2211 stores an expected selection frequency for each page of transmission data stored in a transmission data storage section 113, a transmission sequence determination section 2212 references the selection frequency storage section 2211 to determine the transmission sequence of each page so that the transmission interval is decreased more for pages with a higher selection frequency, a transmission data read section 214 reads the transmission data stored in the transmission data storage section 113 according to the decided transmission sequence and outputs the read data to a multiplexer section 115, wherein a prescribed processing is applied to the outputted transmission data, and a transmission section 116 transmits the processed data.
