PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appreciation worth of an article storage box, a wooden box in particular. SOLUTION: The article storage box 1 consisting of a container body 2 with the upper surface opened having a recessed cross section and a lid 3 for covering the opened surface of the container body 2. A shallow recessed groove 2b is formed by denting the outer sidewall 2a of the container body 2, and a patterned texture 4 formed with a picture or other various kinds of patterns is put over the groove 2b. Thus the article storage box is improved in the appreciation of the container body 2 while the texture 4 is embedded in the outer sidewall 2a of the container body 2. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
