PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information inputting method and system reducing costs required in information input, securing confidentiality, and extremely reducing man-hours and costs required in verification of inputted information. SOLUTION: A handwritten or printed document precedently attached with identification information for specifying the document and identification information for respectively specifying divided parts when a required portion of document information is plurally divided is read as image data by an image reading means and it is divided into pieces of partial image information 104. The plurality of pieces of partial image information 104 is distributed to a plurality of terminals along with identification information codes. In each terminal 106, required character information included in the pieces of partial image information are individually inputted as text codes 108. A text code of the required portion of the handwritten or printed document information is provided by concentrating the text codes 108 and synthesizing the concentrated text codes 108 on the basis of corresponding identification information codes.
