PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a current image searching method wherein similar images corresponding to similar-sense of a human being can not be obtained. SOLUTION: The described problem can be solved by using the image searching method containing a feature volme extraction process S404 for extracting a plurality of visual feature volume of a corresponding image from each image as a subject of search contained in a reference image and the described image group as a subject, a feature volume selecting process S405 for selecting feature volume of the corresponding image as a subject of search approximate to the feature quantity of the reference image by the volume enough to satisfy the predetermined condition, and a similar image extracting process S409 for extracting an image similar to the reference image from the described image group as a subject of search.
