<p>An apparatus is provided which allows for ready dismounting of a boat from a trailer or the like carrier means therefor. The apparatus includes a lifting and pushing member (10), mounted on said trailer, which includes a plurality of rollers (13, 14) which, upon being brought into contact with the hull of a boat, through actuation of a winch (6) to impart pivotable movement thereto, serve to exert a lifting and pushing action on the boat, whereby to tilt at least a forward part of said boat out of the plane of said trailer, such that the weight of the boat causes it to exit backwards from the trailer.</p> |
