<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict push key acceleration for obtaining rich performance expression. <P>SOLUTION: Concerning a key, a depressed position not exceeding about 9.0-9.5 mm from a rest position is a reference point. The reference point has good correlation with the key speed and the striking speed of a hammer. A reproduction preprocessing part 10 predicts the push key acceleration, by finding a reference time tr passing the reference point by the key and a reference speed Vr, indicating the key speed at the reference point on the basis of performance data supplied from a recording medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
