<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that prevents tension of a game from getting spoiled by preventing a fraudulent use of saved data. <P>SOLUTION: The timing of storing play status after a game is started is sequentially determined based on random numbers and the play status at each storage time is sequentially stored temporarily in a main storage 26. When a saving operation is detected, the play status stored in the main storage 26 is read and saved data showing the read play status are stored in a memory card 42. The saved data stored in the memory card 42 are read later and a game is resumed based on the saved data.
