PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a mold suitable for forming a cavity insert which is placed in the mold and has a minute pattern accurately and efficiently. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the mold having the cavity insert 34 having the minute pattern 11, when the cavity insert 34 is manufactured, a cut master 10 with minute pattern 11 formed in advance is formed.
