PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphone system wherein interphone master units in the private rooms are interconnected by using a terminal unit separate from the master units and only the terminal unit can be disconnected as required while keeping the interconnection state. SOLUTION: The interphone system comprises a slave unit at the entrance, the plurality of interphone master units 1 disposed in the private rooms that can be called from the slave unit at the entrance via a trunk line path and communicating with the entrance slave unit and a terminal unit 2 consisting of terminal tabs 31 interconnecting the interphone master units by jumper wires to form the trunk line path, and a terminal board mounted with the terminal tabs for making electrical connection of the trunk line paths by using the jumper wires. A mount unit 60 for freely removably mounting the terminal unit to a space produced on the rear side of a CRT module on the rear side 13 of the interphone master unit is provided to the interphone master unit.
