PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor having small size, large capacitance, small ESR, and small leakage current using wound capacitor elements formed by winding an anodized foil and a counterposed cathode foil together with an interposed separator. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing method of this electrolytic capacitor, after conductive polymer layers are formed within the capacitor element which is made by winding the anodized foil and the counterposed cathode foil together with the interposed separator, clearance between the conductive polymer layers is filled with an electrolyte.
