PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for correcting the digital data of paper base capable of validating input data and processing a plurality of forms issued from a large number of different organizations by a single multi-functional peripheral device while assuring the safe transmission of data when the forms are scanned by the multi-functional peripheral device. SOLUTION: A method of correcting the digital data of paper base comprises the steps of receiving the input data by scanning paper with the scanner of the device, identifying the paper as the forms including one or more fields of the user input data to be validated, validating the user input data by using the user interface of the device, and feeding the user input data to a back end system.
