PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home or office security monitoring system which can monitor condition of a home and an office by effectively utilizing an existing network circuit such as ADSL and which can quickly take action against to a trespasser by reporting it to the police and which can be easily used through a mobile telephone with a carrier free terminal authentication method. SOLUTION: This security monitoring system is provided with a center monitoring server provided in a monitoring center and security servers provided in home and offices of users. The security server is connected to the center monitoring server through the Internet, and the monitoring center collectively manages home security and office security of the users.
