PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an industrial production method by which a large amount of a high-purity oxidized compound of an indole derivative trimer is synthesized in a high yield and to obtain the new electroconductive oxidized compound of the indole derivative trimer which is obtained by the method and has excellent oxidation-reduction potential, oxidation-reduction capacity and cycle characteristics. SOLUTION: The method for producing the oxidized compound of the indole derivative trimer comprises oxidizing the indole derivative trimer (A) with an oxidizing agent in a solvent such as water, an organic solvent, etc. The new oxidized compound of the indole derivative trimer and the oxidized compound of the indole derivative trimer having a laminated structure are obtained by the method.
