PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stockings having good air permeability and no tightening/oppressive feeling to the hip part or a thigh of a wearer, easy to put on or off, causing no chapped skin, and excellent in fashionability. SOLUTION: The stockings comprise a pair of right and left stocking leg parts 11 and 12, a waist band 15, front-side garters 16, 17 and back-side garters 18, 19 respectively joining the pair of stocking leg parts 11 and 12 to the waist band 15. The front-side garters 16, 17 are joined to the waist band 15 and the stocking leg parts 11, 12 at the belly part of the wearer. The back-side garters 18, 19 are joined to the waist band 15 and the stocking leg parts 11, 12 between a position right at the side of the wearer's leg and the wearer's hip line position.
